Slow Down is a self-published book that explores the concept of slowness as a form of resistance in an increasingly fast-paced world. Living in New York City, I often feel surrounded by urgency—where speed is rewarded and the small, ordinary moments are easily overlooked. This book is my response: an invitation to pause, observe, and rediscover meaning in the overlooked.

The book brings together three original projects—The Leaf Translation, Recreation, and Spread the Message—each focused on embracing process over outcome. I set specific rules for myself in each project, allowing time, repetition, and reflection to shape the work. Rather than rushing toward a final result, the emphasis is placed on the act of making itself.

The book uses minimal typography, generous white space, and subtle pacing to echo the theme of slowness. Every page is designed to create space—both visually and mentally—for the reader to slow down and take notice.

Slow Down is an ongoing exploration. As the project evolves, I plan to continue expanding it across new mediums, materials, and techniques. I'll be always guided by the belief that slowing down is not a limitation, but a way of seeing more deeply.
